Workshop Pro is one of the exhibitors at Automechanika.
Workshop Pro is the South African agent for the Haynes Pro system and also publishes Haines Repair manuals.
Workshop Pro has experience in attending the Automechanika event as the company has participated in the trade fair for several years, particularly with the MUA organisation, the motor industry workshop association of South Africa. “They are again hosting a spanner talk pavilion for another year, and our partnership with them has been very strong over the last couple of years and that’s why they’ve invited us here for another year,” said Donovan Hardwick, the technical sales manager at Workshop Pro.
Workshop Pro has many expectations heading into this Automechanika event, as they look forward to speaking to and networking with many individuals, which is better than sending out messages and emails.

A pleasant surprise that awaits visitors to the Workshop Pro is a red classic car known as the Austin-Healy Sprite, which displays the qualities that draw the attention of car lovers. “People can come and have a look at it, but at the end of the day, we’re really showcasing our Haynes Pro System, which is a flagship for South Africa,” said Hardwick.
Hardwick continued to go into detail as to how 2024 has been a challenging year for not only Workshop Pro but every automotive company. “I think no matter who you speak to, that person is going to tell you this year was tougher than last year.” He continued by saying: “The highs of this year were definitely in the beginning of the year and the lows towards the end of the year. But we’re definitely going to carry on.”
Nevertheless, Workshop Pro is optimistic that the upcoming year will hold out better prospects for the company.
