Solera Audatex has reached a pivotal milestone in its expansion and influence within South Africa’s automotive repair sector.
In 2024, the company invested significantly in workforce development, equipping 569 students with hands-on training at its on-site facilities, while an additional 112 students benefitted from Solera University’s online platform. Enhancements to the in-person training program, such as live vehicle repair demonstrations, have been met with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Trainees particularly appreciated the opportunity to apply theory to practice using actual car parts, gaining a deeper understanding of the repair and painting process.
Jermaine Davids, Southern Africa Claims Director and Chairman of the SA Employee Trust at Solera Audatex, expressed his satisfaction with the program’s success, stating, “Achieving a 9.9 NPS score is a testament to our commitment, but we’re just getting started. We aim to elevate the training experience even further.”
Further demonstrating its commitment to industry innovation, Solera Audatex significantly expanded its vehicle database, incorporating 31 new models, including the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, Haval H6 GT, Ford Mustang, and Mini Countryman. In addition, the company completed 48 data updates, ensuring greater accuracy in repair assessments.

“Our advanced analytics tools provide deep insights across eight customer segments, offering critical data on parts movement, assessment trends, labor costs, and write-offs,” adds Davids. “This empowers our customers to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.”
Sustainability is another key focus for Solera Audatex, particularly through its efforts to increase access to green parts. These eco-friendly alternatives not only reduce sourcing time by 70% but also offer cost savings of up to 22%, benefiting both businesses and the environment.
Beyond technology, Solera Audatex is strengthening its presence through strategic partnerships and transformation initiatives. Its achievement of a Level 3 BEE Certification in 2024 underscores its dedication to inclusive growth and supplier diversity.
With four core business divisions—Vehicle Claims, Vehicle Repairs, Vehicle Solutions, and Fleet Solutions—the company continues to leverage global expertise, processing over a million claims daily worldwide. By driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, Solera Audatex remains at the forefront of South Africa’s evolving automotive repair industry.
