Using the latest technology, DeBeer Refinish has formulated a new fast-drying clear that dries in just 10 minutes at 60 degrees Celsius and can be applied in one visit. DeBeer says 8-814 Fast Performance Clear offers “extreme” ease of use and application. The 2:1 mixing ratio ensures quick and simple preparation, while the resin makes it user-friendly and easy to apply. Good spray properties allow for excellent flow and levelling, delivering a high gloss final finish with excellent appearance. The 8-814 Fast Performance Clear dries in just 10 minutes, but unlike other fast-drying clears which are limited to small and fast repairs, this one delivers a “flawless” finish on spot repairs and medium sized jobs – up to five panels, a complete front end, or complete side. The long application window ensures more working time with the product, increasing throughput and overall efficiency of the repair process while significantly reducing energy consumption. Drying in 10 minutes is not the only redeeming characteristic of 8-814 Fast Performance Clear – it offers fast air-drying (20 degrees Celsius) properties with a dry-to handle time of just 60 minutes, or low-baked (40 degrees Celsius) in half the time. Its flexibility allows body shops to save time, resources, and energy without compromising on performance or usability.
