Pretoria is preparing to host one of South Africa's most ambitious cultural celebrations as Mahindra Fusion Fest returns for its second year. The festival, which captivated audiences in its debut edition, will transform the SunBet Arena this March into a dynamic showcase where music, fashion and visual art collide in spectacular fashion.
A Movement Beyond Entertainment
The event represents far more than a typical music festival. Mahindra South Africa has crafted an experience designed to reflect the nation's rich diversity and creative spirit through carefully curated performances that blend multiple artistic disciplines. The festival's return follows overwhelming demand from audiences who attended the inaugural edition, confirming its place as a significant date on South Africa's cultural calendar.
Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa, emphasises the deeper significance behind the event. "Fusion Fest is more than a festival, it reflects the youthful vibrancy and diversity of the Rainbow Nation, bringing together music, fashion and art in a celebration of shared expression," he says.
He adds that the festival embodies Mahindra's broader vision: "It brings Mahindra's Rise philosophy to life by showcasing how creativity and collaboration can unite different voices into something more powerful and defines who we are becoming as a brand in South Africa."

Four Unique Fusion Performances
The 2026 programme centres on four distinct performances, each exploring different facets of South African culture. Rewind the Revolution, led by Zöe Modiga, takes audiences on a musical journey from 1994 to the present alongside Mafikizolo, Kurt Darren and Claire Johnston, with fashion by Imprint and art from Shaun Damn Vandal Oakley.
Hip Hop Most High presents an unexpected collaboration between BLXKIE, Maglera Doe Boy and the Tshwane Gospel Choir, whilst Femme For All celebrates female artists across generations including Naledi Aphiwe, Karen Zoid, Nomfundo Moh and Mariechan.
The festival takes place on Saturday, 7 March 2026 at SunBet Arena, Time Square, Pretoria, with tickets available from R450: https://www.ticketmaster.co.za/event/mahindra-fusion-fest-2026-tickets/1655755712
