Hyundai South Africa is reshaping the way customers experience vehicle shopping with the launch of its new Hyundai Kenilworth hub in Cape Town. The brand, already one of the strongest performers in the local new vehicle market, is introducing a retail concept designed to make buying a car more convenient and accessible.
The hub is located at Access Park Mall, one of the busiest shopping destinations in the Southern Suburbs. Hyundai believes this location brings the showroom directly to where people live, work and spend their leisure time, creating an opportunity to explore new vehicles without the need to visit a traditional dealership.
“For many South Africans, a journey to purchasing or exploring a new vehicle has long been hindered by practical challenges such as travel times. With this concept, we want to offer convenience when it comes to shopping for a Hyundai vehicle,” said Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa. “Exploring a new vehicle should feel natural, enjoyable and not disrupt a customer’s lifestyle and things they enjoying doing.”

The Hyundai Kenilworth hub offers digital shopping tools, onsite test drives, model comparison features and access to sales teams who can assist with financing options. It also links directly to a nearby service centre where existing owners can book vehicle maintenance.
Mark Torrance, Western Cape regional manager, emphasises that the space is an evolution of the dealership experience. “The Hyundai Kenilworth is more than a retail space. It is a dynamic, open-door environment designed to simplify every stage of car shopping to ownership.”
Hyundai plans to introduce more hubs around the country, with Soweto expected to be next.
